Desert Scenes: Photographs of a Quiet Land
Even more than Buddhism I am drawn to the desert. Perhaps they are for love of the same things? The desert, a seemingly spare, unforgiving land, provides bounty for those who seek it. It is a place which invites quiet reflection. Where most assume there is little or no life, time and patience reveal an abundance of it. Even a little rain brings an explosion of color and scent and scurrying life.Life is here. It is not hiding, or waiting. It resides in all aspects of the desert.
These photographs try to capture the desert landscape and the beauty of its forms.
