Dan Paterson ~ Director
Dan Paterson has acted and directed for several years. He is honoured to accept the
challenge of this original script. It has been soul quenching to watch and take part in the
growth of this play from a loose collection of notes to its current form.
As an actor, Dan has performed roles such as Simon in Ivona: Princess of Bergundia, Peachum in The Beggar's Opera,
Father/Fish in Jacob Two-Two Meets The Hooded Fang, Andrew Rally in I Hate Hamlet and He-Devil in
Weighting
To Get In, which was performed at the '98 Vancouver Fringe.
This is Dan's third time occupying the director's chair. His previous experience includes University by Jon Jory for the
Whistler Player's Theatrical Guild and John Patrick Shanley's Danny And The Deep Blue Sea
for the Club S.O.D.A Theatre Festival.
While getting his BFA in Theatre from The University of Windsor, Dan asked one of the best directors he had worked with, "What
should I do if I want to be a director?" The reply was very simple,
"Do it."
