Rekha performed principal roles as Shazia in Counter Offense at the Firehall Theatre and as Polly in Mamet Women at Pacific Theatre.
Between rehearsals for Prisoners she also participated in The Shakespeare Project’s production of The Tragedie of Julius Ceasar.
In addition to her background in psychology and massage, Rekha is a multi-disciplinary visual and performing artist who, among other talents, paints, sculpts, sings, plays tabla and sarangi (traditional Indian instruments) and, of course, plays artificial beings imprisoned for being a little bit too human...
